FIRE IN THE HOLE PART 4!!

Hope everyone is liking the story. alas the art has gone by the wayside. I might do stuff after though. I've had guests staying last minute and tons of yardwork to do. BUT, I was thinking, how about a shout out to anyone here to do their own artwork based on the story? I think that would be really cool!!

ok i was having internet issues, AGAIN, so this is late, AGAIN. I really had it done, honest though. here's part 4 though, enjoy, like I said, these next two parts are going to be one helluva ride for the gang!!
****************************************************************

“They took your WHAT?!” grumbled Big.

“Er, um, nothing. I was just kidding. Ha Ha! Funny huh?” said Choopie while trying to stay out of Big’s reach.

“Guys! Guys!” yelled Molly. “We need to figure out what’s going on here. We can reprimand Choopie later Big.”
“Yes you’re right Molly. Sorry. Does anyone remember what happened?”

“I remember the little thing that appeared out of nowhere Big,” said Choopie standing behind Merrow.

“I didn’t get a look at him. Did anyone else?” Molly and Merrow shook their heads.”Choopie what did he look like?”

“Um, he was smaller than me I think and green I think, I couldn’t really tell. But it was like he opened a door and showed up. Kinda like that guy on that TV show, y’know the one with the other guy trapped in time and stuff and he goes from like one person to-“

“Ok I get it Choopie,” said Big. “So whatever it was it can travel without being seen, and if it showed up near the hole, then that means we must still be near it in some way. Now, if only we can find a way to figure out where we are exactly.”

They all looked around to try and figure out where they were. The room they were in was made of some kind of metallic alloy and smooth. There were no visible seams or cracks to suggest it was pieced together. There were slabs coming out of the walls which were evidently bunks of some sort, although they weren’t very big. The light they were able to see with seemed to just come from the walls, no sign of any light sources. The farthest wall from them was open but upon further notice it was some sort of barrier keeping them from being able to leave and keeping them from being able to break out. Hammerskold was still out cold in the farthest corner.

“I wonder what we’re being held for? Why not just kill us on the spot if they didn’t want us near the hole?” asked Big rhetorically.

“Hey Big, maybe we can ask that thing right there?” said Molly.

That thing being a hulking beast easily 8 feet tall and heading right towards them. It was all muscle, with a long face and two tusks extending from where it’s ears should be and down along its jawline. It’s arms were apelike in that they were long and it seemed to almost walk on it’s knuckles. There were two large nostrils that flared as it breathed and it had not two, not four, but six eyes, running along both sides of its face.

“Damn he’s ugly!” exclaimed Choopie.

The beast stopped outside their cell and stopped. Another three just like it appeared, one wearing some sort of gauntlet upon its left hand. The first one pushed something on the wall outside of the cell and the barrier shimmered slightly.

“Um, Big, this isn’t going to turn out well is it?” asked Choopie.

“We’ll see what happens Choopie, prepare to run if you can though, all of you. I’ll try to keep them from Hammerskold.”

The beast with the gauntlet on its hand walked thru the barrier and went straight for Molly, who tried to dart away, but to no avail, somehow it was able to grab her.
“BIG! What the? How is this possible?!” she screamed as the beast turned and grabbed Merrow in its free hand. She too was unable to get away. Big jumped at it, but was grabbed in midair by the first beast. He tried to squirm free but was unable to get away. Choopie made a break for the barrier but ran face first into it, unable to get through unlike the beasts. The third beast grabbed him as he held his face.

“I tink I boked my ‘ose”he said as he got carried away.

They left Hammerskold in the corner as all three carried the rest down a long, mildly lit corridor.

“Big, I’m scared,” said Molly as she tried to break free from the beast’s grasp.

“I know Mol, I am too ,” he said and he meant it.

.......to be, aw hell you know what haha!......
